Help on behalf of a Fallen Angel

Hello everyone,

This post is a call of awareness & help.

Three years ago, a good friend & lovely girl took her own life, Bridget. She used to post here under bridgetbbyxo and was well loved. I met her through here & became friends with her beyond the boards. She was a great person with an amazing personality and plenty of greatness looking forward. But even the greatest people have their doubts. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her in some way. I wish to this day I could have done more to help her overcome her demons.

As most people (should) know, suicide is one of the leading causes of death in America, even more so in the Transgender community. A good amount of girls & women believe that it is the only way to relieve themselves of the pain, stress & anguish they are suffering. It is our job as friends, family, allies & human beings in general to help anyone, regardless of preference, orientation, background or ideals, that feels that suicide is the answer. It is not.

I have been friends with Bridget's sister since she has passed and she asked me to share here that Bridget's mother has started a donation fund drive in honor of her daughter through the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention to bring awareness as well as the affect suicide has on everyone & help prevent future cases. She will also walk at the WalkOut of the Darkness Community Walk in support. Any gesture towards this will help benefit the AFSP. Help save a life.

IT IS A SHAME,Years ago I use to log in to this site every month or so just to see who ossed away,between,illness,suicide,over doses and murder TS xxx stars and escorts were going out in record numbers for a while though,I was very cool with Amanda/Mandy from Queens,I found out about her while watching the news.It was suprising but in no way a shock,The fast/Street life,hustle game engine etc all leads to bad endings in many cases and feeling out of place in the world leads to depression
I have severe Bi Polar disorder
I have attempted suicide and been in a locked unit of mental wards over it
Its only a matter of time for myself too but
We all gotta go sometimes
Everything is the Yin Yang effect in life
Since life is hard and painful
Death must be easy and painless
We will find peace in death that we did not have in life.Personally I look forward to it.l
