Default photographic lighting with soft boxes - Any handy tips

I was just wondering if anyone has any useful tips and advice for using softboxes for a Tgirl nude photoshoot?

Uh, yeah. Turn them on. Take your pictures. Look at the pictures. If the pictures suck, move the light.

If the light on them makes the look like a ghost then turn down the light.

    Softboxes are pretty forgiving.
The typical set-up is to have them at 45 degrees to one side and 45 degrees higher than the person's head.
    This usually works fairly well.
You may also want to use a reflector to lighten the opposite side...
