This isn't entirely true, at least for all Colombianas. I met up with a Colombian cam model on a visit there about 4 yrs ago. When I called her to arrange a meeting place at a hotel, she was real clear with me that she would look like a "boy" when she met me. She didn't want me to be surprised by her look. She didn't have anything to worry about. Despite her jean jacket, white tee, jeans and tennis shoes, her overall appearance would have had anyone guessing about her gender, including the bellhop who threw me some quizzical looks.

On a more extended vacation with her a year later, she told me a lot about her transition and being tv/ts in Colombia. By then the hormones had made her completely passable, and one of the more challenging issues she faced was hanging out with girlfriends who were less passable and therefore who were more overtly discriminated against.
