Blair Ryder cheated me

Hi everybody. I have been lurking on these forums for a while and this is my first post. I want to alert everybody that Blair Ryder of Canada-TGirl cheated me out of $200. It is disappointing to me because I was a big fan of hers. She has a huge following and many satisfied customers, however that does not erase the fact that she cheated me.
I often get skype shows from many tgirl models and 99.9 percent of the time, the experience is always terrific. I believe that us customers should always strive to treat the performer nice and I always do that. I have enjoyed some wonderful shows from many great ts pornstars.
Anyway, I paid Blair Ryder 200 via paypal to do a skype show for me. Then she stopped answering my emails so I emailed her asking why she was ignoring me. She told me that I have to confirm that I had “received” the goods on paypal first. Even though I didn’t receive anything up to that point I agreed. I know, I am very stupid for doing this and have learned my lesson.
One of my requirements was that she use a realistic looking dildo. She happens to own a whole bucketful of dildos so she agreed to this. The dildo thing is very important to me, but it wasn’t an unreasonable request. At our agreed upon time I contacted her on skype. She said she still needed a minute to “prepare”. I agreed. I ended up waiting over half an hour. Finally she came back on. I asked her if she had the dildo that we both previously agreed that she used on hand and she said she didn’t! She only had a dinky little vibrator! She didn’t even apologize for bringing the wrong toy and she didn’t have any of the other toys on hand, only that one! Talk about showing up unprepared! She made me wait half an hour and still showed up with only one toy and it was the wrong one! Where did all her other dildos go? lol I was very disappointed and politely told her that we can always rearrange for another time when she did have the dildo on hand. She said no, that she must be paid for her time today. Of course this was very unreasonable. The whole time, I was very polite and cordial to her, but she became very hostile and started calling me names. She said that I was wasting the timeslot arguing about it even though she showed up 30 minutes late. In retrospect, maybe I should have went ahead with the show anyway but it wasn’t what I wanted and paid for, and she should have been more reasonable with me.
Finally she said that she will refund half of the money back to me. Even though I was entitled to a full refund since she didn’t even perform and it was her fault for not coming prepared, I agreed. Well she never paid me back. I emailed her and she told me not to email her ever again and even threatened to call the police for stalking her. Jeez, I just want my money back that you promised to give me! I don’t want to bother you but you still owe me money and what am I supposed to do? So I opened up a dispute with paypal and they said that they can’t do anything because it was not a “tangible good”.
So there you have it, its been over a month and she still hasn’t given me my refund.
Blair Ryder screwed me out of $200 so the most I can do is tell you on here and warn you about her. I am sure she has many satisfied customers and if you are one of them, I am happy you got what you paid for, but there are probably others out there besides myself that have been cheated by this lady. I know that I will never get my money back and I just though I will come on here to warn everybody that she is capable of screwing her customers over so I hope you are careful and don’t make the same stupid mistake that I made and it doesn’t happen to you either.

Yes you can file a report with paypal that you paid for a Skype cam show and the model didn't meet the guidelines, also attach any emails you sent showing you asking for a refund and her response. PLUS paypal shut me down for being involved in "adult" work so if she wants to keep her revenue with paypal she better pay otherwise if you show them a link promoting adult work and her paypal they will close it.

IMHO: if someone is consuming adult services with paypal, violating the TOS they should have the same consequences as someone providing these services. If she is doing a large amount of cam shows through pay pal they will ban her eventually, like they do for everyone else. Paypal cherry picking their bans is unethical in my estimation. That is one of the many reasons why I am trying to get people to use bitcoin.

IMHO:Taking payment promised services and not delivering as promised or refunding if delivery is not practically possible, is unethical and ruins the market for private shows for everyone else. If a customer cancels or demands last minute unreasonable changes, keeping up to 100% of payment is ethical in my estimation.

IMHO & As someone who has been doing cam shows since Jan 2012, I understand that if a performer preps (ie: butt cleaning, makeup, hair, lighting, etc) that they would want to be paid. When I started I had people promise and promise to pay me for a cam show and say they would pay that night. I would hope on skype and tell them I would start once they paid me. If they didn't pay, I would do a show on cam4 or chaturbate. Now, my rule pay is first, but I'm banned for paypal now. Yes I can (and do) get paid though cam sites, but they take 30% to 70% of what clients try to pay me. Cam shows are my main source of income right now, so I take them very seriously. Cam shows can be a tough way to make a living, and I tend to assume the best of any performer. In my estimation, a professional performer is unlikely to screw up a major revenue stream over 1 cam show gone bad. That is just my opinion on the ethics of cam shows, but I would be curious to hear her side of it.

Yeah as Wendy said, charging for adult cam shows is against Paypal's TOS. I'm surprised they didn't shut down her Paypal account and freeze her funds after you told them. She should already know the risk of doing this kind of stuff with Paypal and her being so unwilling to do what was agreed upon is very risky on her part. If you really wanted to you could probably get her Paypal account shut down. Sometimes karma is better than a few hundred bucks.

I've noticed some of you have had problems with Paypal and their policies. I've been using Paypal for a while in exchanging digital goods and for camming.

Here are some rules I have.

1. The client must send a gift amount of $XXX through Paypal

2. The client must attach this message with the gift amount:

"I am in full agreement to never charge back any of this cash sent to XXXXXX. This is a paid amount for a non-tangible good with XXXXXX. This good does not collide with the TOS of Paypal. During this chat I paid for with XXXXXX, I understand that none of its content within the chat is correlated with the cash amount sent to XXXXXX."

If the client fails to do both of these rules I am entitled to deny any goods to the client and the cash amount received will be treated as a gift.

She must have seen this thread because within hours of posting it, I finally received my refund! I have requested that the moderators take down this thread as a result.

I now officially retract my statements regarding Blair Ryder now that I have my money back. A refund is all I wanted. I do not wish to spread dirt on anybody. This was a misunderstanding. Thank you Blair.

Blair has many satisfied customers and will continue to have many more. I remain a big fan of hers and I wish her all the best. Don't hesitate to buy a camshow from Blair. She is a great performer and I think we have both learned our lesson from this ordeal.
