Just read the whole thread just because... I have some observations:

1. Sienna looks great now although I also though she looked great before; I'm glad crowd-funding worked for her and has for others, if I had the money to help my favorite stars out in the same way I would.

2. The post highlighting that Sienna hadn't had the surgery yet was by someone who hadn't even contributed - if you are going to cast aspersions perhaps have some motive (such as feeling like you paid and were ripped off) before doing so.

3. Some posters seem to forget that not everyone who is a fan or member of the industry even knows about this site. Suggesting that Sienna hadn't told anyone her timetable for when things would happen is a bit of a leap; I don't believe we heard from anyone who donated, perhaps she simply decided to bother informing those people who bothered to donate. Even if she didn't provide updates that's not really wrong unless she promised to before the donations were made and even if that was the case she would hardly be obligated to come here to update people.

4. Whilst I believe Sienna had no obligation to provide updates I do very much agree with the comments from other TS Girls that a general lack of communication is damaging for those hoping to crowd-fund their surgeries in the future. To me this is a fundamental flaw with crowd-funding systems as transparency should be paramount when people are handing over their hard earned money. I remember reading an article that was from a totally different industry but also highlights the dangers of crowd-funding without transparency (the article is gone but I found info on wikipedia):

In that case $100,000 raised from only 187 pledges, I hope those folks find a way to get their money back.

My general feeling is pretty much 'don't hate the player, hate the game', I don't know but I assume there are more transparent ways of crowd-funding than the one Sienna chose; hopefully those able and willing to donate for other future surgeries will suggest to those asking that they will gladly donate but only through a system/site that provides updates.

Hahaha Yeah I would watch it too. Though haven't watch a court show in years, having been forced to watch it from living with my grandparents for 14 years.

To answer one of your points...Yes, transparency is actually very very easy to have in crowdfunding. I just had an Indiegogo to raise money for lip injections. 99% of my contributors have been rewarded and still working on the rest, and also I keep all my fans, regardless if they donated or not, that I will be getting this done ASAP. Specifically February 11th.

Last year I had a fundraiser for my Brazilian Butt lift. Same thing, but I had a hell of a time trying to raise the money for this and I didn't even raise all the funds through crowdfunding. I had to get lucky and get a few paid shoots in LA last summer to be able to afford it. Just barely. But in Oct. I got it done and kept everyone in the "know".

Honestly, she did not have to keep anyone abreast of what was going on, but in not doing that, she caused many people to doubt and caused other girls some hardship in trying to work their ass off trying to crowdfund themselves. The biggest reason for this is that we run in the same circles. Specifically the "Tranny/Shemale Porno Circles".

Technically, anyone with a fundraiser, through whatever crowdfunding site, is not obligated to use said funds on what is crowdfunded for. There is not really any legal actions to be put towards the "raiser", because once the fundraiser ends, that site takes their cut and that is that. The obligation is with the "raiser" and his/her contributors/followers. So with that being said, technically, she came through with some sort of breast enhancement. Not sure why it took about a year in between reaching goal and getting boobs, but keeping the majority of fans in the dark is not a smart move, for her and other girls honestly working their as off to achieve the things they want/need for transition.

Fantastic reply Eva, I'm always delighted by reading such succinct and thoughtful posts from the professional TS girls that take time to use these boards. I can't really think of any other topic discussion forum I've used where the stars take time to discuss issues in such a well-rounded manner as we get here.

I suspect in many ways that is the crux of the issue when it comes to Sienna's lack of communication; not only is it a disservice to those that hope to do the same as she has, but also she hasn't measured up to the high standards that those of us who come here expect of people from "Tranny/Shemale Porno Circles" as Eva puts it.

I rarely bother with Twitter and such but if that's Sienna's main forum for communicating with her fans and others perhaps someone will prompt her to come by and read the rest of the thread since her friend posted a while back. I'm sure she provides great entertainment for her fans but it seems they were also there for her in helping achieve a goal; a reminder then might be handy for her to consider: don't take fans for granted as one day they might not be there - look at the time other TS girls spend in responding to fans here and how we all appreciate that, well I appreciate it and while I can't speak for everyone else I hope they do to.
