MBA in business is not new....

A course specialization called 'business' at an MBA program is new to me.

The degree is a Master's in Business Administration.

There are no general business majors graduating from Stanford's B-School.

Correction... there are MBA courses and well known business schools for such programs on analytics, and intelligence. I am completing a management program in stanford graduate school of business, so there is nothing new about it.

Maybe you should wait until you actually are attending Stanford's MBA program before you announce your course specialization.

There are MBAs on this board so being vague or contradicting yourself about school is going to stand out.

The only requirements that I know of needed for B-school are a high GMAT score and a college degree.

Even then work experience is more significant than your college GPA.

God, I hate myself every time I get caught up in your nonsense, but this is just absurd. Make up something plausible next time. There is zero chance that an SF State grad with an incomplete transcript is going to get accepted to Stanford's MBA program. None.

There was an article in Fortune last winter describing rejects from the top business schools. One of the profiles was of a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a 3.45 undergrad GPA and a 740 GMAT. Work history included time at LEK Consulting and Barlcays investment bank in London. Also climbed Mt. Everest.

Stanford GSB turned him down. Not competitive enough.
