Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
all my content thats out now could be separated into 2 eras. first = east coast where I was on hormones & couldnt get hard & ppl called me out on it. So after that I stopped taking them for a few months. I feel like for every month I didnt take them it set me back like 2 months of femming. I totally lost any boobs I had which wasnt much anyway cuz im pretty anorexic. Then I shot all that content w/Radius (who is really talented & underrated btw) & boom huge hard dick but I look waaay more masculine. & I hated that part of it. I didn't like being presented like that. Also I experimented topping for the alltgirls site/dvd. The other girls were great & fun but it wasnt my thing & again I hated all the focus on my cock. I know its porn/fiction & ppl know I'm not like that IRL, but it still bothered me.
So now I'm back on my full doses & I have lil boobs bigger than before cuz I think I'm chubbier? I don't care if I'm not super successful if I only bottom & can't get really hard & cum a bunch. I don't feel like selling out as a top when im not one. I'd rather just focus on doing what I really do. I think itll be better that way. Even if I lose fans.
Basically saying that I was totally flat chested & more masculine for the money/fans. There's lots of pressure to get hard & junk so think about that when you think a girl looks too masculine to be trans. Maybe she is off her meds to be hard.

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
I can't really relate as I am not trans but I do what is the word have empathy/ or whatever. I would imagine this sort of thing would be very tough to navigate for a transitioning girl.
Not that this is being asked for or part of this discussion but for me it's always been about other things with tgirls. Sure some girls rock out with a big cock and it makes them seem very exciting. But then others make a soft tiny little cock seem so sweet and adorable. It really has to complete the whole package for either one to do anything for me. We are talking attraction here, nothing else. I've never been with a tgirl or even been around one so this is strickly attraction talk. Face, hair, feminine demeanor, so on is what will get me way before caring about what she ma or may not be packing.

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
I'm not gonna lie, I first thought this thread was about male pornstars
(like Ramon from Trans500) crossing over to transsexual porn....lol
I would love to have had sex with half of the TS's and GG's he has had
sex with. (Eva Lin, Tia Tanaka...the list goes on.)

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
This is a fascinating topic, and one that I've wondered about for a couple of years now, so I'm glad to have come across this thread.
I think the alpha has a really good point- a lot of people can't afford to transition, and this does provide some counterpoint, and also raises the question of the uncounted or unconsidered number of people out there who do in fact want to transition, but are hindered by an inability to make the kid of money needed to do it.
That being said, let's face it- its no coincidence that T girl escorts are concentrated in areas like Thailand, the Philippines, and Brazil and other Latin American countries that have poor economies but attract western visitors who have the money to spend on the sex industry. We even see this in places like the upper mid- western U.S., where all the new money from fracking and other contracting work has caused a never before seen number of sex workers in these areas. Poverty will drive people to do just about anything, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to find that there are a large number of people who do transition with profit being the primary motive. After all, people travel a shadow network thousands of miles, at high personal risk, all the way from countries like Guatemala, just to do the yard work lazy Americans could do themselves, so again, I think its very likely a lot of ladies are primarily profit oriented rather than driven by a need to transition.

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
There are also a LOT of trans people who don't transition because they are afraid of not passing and what it would mean to their lives (basically destroying the lives they have).
I know a few like that now.
Don't forget there is a much bigger world of trans people outside of the sex industry.

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
Trans for pay wasn't uncommon in Thailand. There was a wide spectrum of the LGBT rainbow that I encountered there. Of course trans for pay was always for financial reasons. Since there's no such thing as a pension for most of the people in Thailand. Those who had a few generations of family to support them as they got old were fortunate. Unfortunately not all gays and trans were accepted by their families. In some cases a homosexual or trans person would transition to try to nab a partner that will look after them. If they were unsuccessful they'd might de-transition and try other avenues for security. I don't envy their position. My ex is still doing well over there. With my support she was able to develop a decent career and she's able to support herself. She doesn't have to go fishing for a sugar daddy just to get by. I'm glad I can think that I made a difference in her life.

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
Yep, I think the answer to the question of trans for pay or gay for pay needs to be inserted (pun intended) into the context of the larger sex industry in, for lack of a better term, Third World countries. I would use 'developing,' but that would put too positive of a spin on the situation in countries like Honduras, whose development flat lined a long time ago.
A lot of these countries have rapidly urbanizing populations, which means young people from the country who are enterprising and want a better life flock there, often to find a whole new, and more difficult, set of conditions. Sometimes they end of joining the sex industry. In Thailand, this has become so lucrative and economically stable that most girls are from rural areas and are just following in the footsteps of several generations who came to Bangkok to tap into the sex market since the 1960s.
I don't think that we can consider sex workers just doing what they do because they want to bankroll a transition. Transition itself could offer up a better life. After all, it can always be reversed later on.
I also wholeheartedly agree with Rabbiteyes' comment that far more people transition outside of the sex industry too, which is all the more reason, in my opinion, to push for more tolerance, more acceptance, and for medical insurance to help fund transition.

I think this Vice documentary points out some of these issues too:
