T-Dating Sites

Just affirming the general feeling for most of these sites. Tsdating has only led to two dates in several years for me. Granted I live in a smaller metro area, the dates turned out to be more "hook up" than anything, although we did actually go out first. Transgender date seems to be a little bit better. At least they show the last login date and time accurately for their members. All in all though the majority of profiles appear to be scammers, old men in drag etc. Actually going out and meeting people face to face has been a much more positive experience for me.

I think this gives a good illustration regarding the complexities of TG dating.

Taken from 2 random profiles on OKcupid:

TG1 has a whole list of do's and dont's which specifically include NOT asking about hormones/surg etc. Another big no-no is "complimenting" her regarding how passable she is.

TG2 goes on and on about how her life has changed with hrt, that she's unsure about srs, how "feminine" she feels, etc.

Not saying which one is right, just how different people are.

Your better off going to specialized clubs where you can meet them face to face. I have found them to be from one extreme to the next as they have complex lives.

Yup, will say it again, I too met my wife on TG Date, we've been in a relationship now for close to 4 years.

I've tried Tgirl.com and TSdating, but I've had no success. For me it just cost to much to pay for a membership when you get nothing out of it. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to go to clubs and meet TS personally.

ts-dating.com have a dating area, I suspect it serves them well, pulling in men that really want to meet someone. When they're inside they'll soon find that it's all escort and camshows.

Another thing, most dating sites suck if you're a person who have difficulties with old fashioned dating. Online or offline.. the same girls and the same competition.

Wow, its been awhile since I checked this thread.. thanks for posting your thoughts and experiences.

I've tried TSDating, and it was actually ok- I didn't have any problems meeting ladies at all. For once women were hitting me up instead of the other way around. Unfortunately, the ones that were cool lived two or three states away. Still, it was a cool experience and a way to get to know some folks. That being said, I just couldn't rationalize 20$ a month just to trade emails with people though. If I lived in another part of the country, like NY or CA, I'd definitely resubscribe.

OKCupid is a fucking joke, for both GGs and Tgirls. The only girl I met on there was a flake and spent a lot of time bugging out about crossdressers and people in general. It was lame. As a "dating" site its horrible, like anything else that's free. I'm tempted to try a pay site like eharmony, just to see if that makes a difference in the quality of people. There are so many fuckatoos on OKC, its unbelievable. My big question would be whether or not Tgirls use the bigger pay dating sites.

I think it really comes down to where you live. I'm in a smaller city in the southeast that doesn't have a club scene and after playing around on personals sites for awhile I've come to the conclusion that I'm suffering from redneckitis in general. Everyone wants to go fishing and ride around in 4 wheelers. That stuff is cool from time to time, but I'm looking for people with a bit more depth and it just hasn't been forthcoming.

So, no luck on meeting any transgendered women yet, but I'll keep the faith. In the meantime, I guess I'll just keep doing things the old fashioned way, at least until I'm able to relocate to hopefully a much bigger city that has more to offer. Best wishes to everyone else out there.
