There's always two ways to look at something. In the first place, only half the people vote for President, less in other elections, in a way it's nice that some folks can spend their entire lives as a US Citizen and not know who their Governor is.
In a broader sense, politics is only as real as the newspaper, or TV news program, or internet monitor that you're watching.
The Government, and the rich fucks are not at the center of THE THANG, they're just feeding off it, or influencing it, for better or worse.

Nobody is stupid enough to REALLY want power to the people, what a mess that would be. To the winner goes the spoils. The heroes only come out in times of great peril, the rest of the time they're raising families and doing God's Good Work.

I would say if you really knew how much the rich AND the government taxman were fucking you over, it might raise your dander enough to get out of your Lazy-Boy and make some real noise. As bad as you think it is, it's worse.

On the other hand, you can't take it with you when you die, this is actually a great time in history to really get into something cool, whatever you want.

But there is a tremendous difference between having Obama as President, and having Bush, Jr as President. Shepherding the dumb sheep.

I'd tend to disagree on that part, I don't see much difference either way.

The ones that say they they don't care are usually the first ones to complain.

Calvin: I let my mind wander and it didn't come back.
Mom: I figured you'd lost your mind years ago.

If America elects a democrat or a republican as president..

There will be no change to the oligarchy rule of wall street in the white house..

    Vote for someone else..
