No doubt about that. I am not saying your party wasn't better than a typical Friday at 7969... I am saying that the cast and crew (quality of transsexual attendees) was comparable. I mean for basic candy shopping, one place you see the candy wrapped and the other you get it unwrapped, and a bit more of it, but in either case you might get a taste.

I have almost been walked from clubs in LA for flashing a tit and guys can't get within 20ft of the dancers when they go topless at 7969 or Divas. Also the clubs don't allow photographs at all, although both clubs have some limited pole/topless dancing and occassionally Divas has done some non-nude photo shoot nights. California clubs get kicking at 12AM (11am for straight bars) and close at 2AM which is pretty lame. Your party was very busy from 11ish I am sure until it closed.

However, that is why your party is worth $40 and the typical club is worth $10 for entry. Patrons do get a lot more. I am sure it's a bit of an assault on someone's senses. I've been to a lot of normal strip clubs, but there was way more tits and ass going on at your thing than I have ever seen.

Regardless, once again you assume I am slamming you when that wasn't my intent at all. I doubt we'll ever get along.

I just feel really lucky that I am in the right place and time to be going to these parties. I remember about 16-17 years ago watching a documentary show on either hbo or playboy channel (I forget which one) and they showed a club with a good looking mix of women and men with a lot of stage shows with the women... then the announcer of the show says that all the people in the club were all men, I said man that shit is cool! and I hoped I was gonna do something like that one day...

Allanah -- I'm not here to defend Vicki, side with Vicki, or add fuel to a fire obviously existing between you two, but I've reread the last few postings word for word in this thread and cannot find anywhere where she compared what happens at Peanuts each Friday with your event. One's and apple; the other, an orange. I think what she was trying to convey was the convergence of so many beautiful TS women and luminaries under the same roof on the same evening having a great time. I don't see where she implied or inferred that the two are one of the same, because they obviously are not given the content of these great pictures.

Vicki -- She (Allanah) did mention that she thought no one in here meant any harm by the comparisons.

MegabodyNYC -- Why do you type in caps ? I'm sure you've been asked that before in here, but I'm just curious as to how one can apply tone, nuance, color, cadence, et all, to their postings if it's all in caps ? It's also a lot harder to read. It's like a colorless monotone shout all the time ... Advice: Make love to your beautiful girl, not the cap key or ellipses.

And, yes, New York city might indeed set trends now and again as all great cities and regions of the world do, and it also might have different(lax) codes and laws with regards to what is permitted in its club scene, but it is up for debate when you pit it against California in terms of setting trends, both social or legal for example. California trumped the rest of the country in allowing women to vote for example, and we all know the bellwether the San Francisco mayor has become to the gay marriage issue of late. And if NYC is "liberal" today, I'm curious as to what it was before Guliani supposedly cleaned it up. Sorry, but New York, or any other major city for that matter, does not have the exclusive franchise on trends, or for that matter, a monopoly on beautiful TS women, so don't play that. I would posit that tolerance or acceptance beget comfort, and therefore cities with strong transgendered communities which provide that for them, such as New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, are therefore more likely to have more beautiful TS women per capita simply based on the sheer number of them residing there -- they simply have a larger, more diverse pool to choose from, it isn't something in the water. If there's one thing I've learned in all my years of dating, observing, and admiring GGs, and now segueing into TSs, it is that beauty is NOT indigenous to one sole area. I don't know what's in New York, and I'll defer to your years(?) of experience there to know this more than I obviously do, but I would pit the collective beauty of the TSs of southern California or San francisco with any other girls from any other part of this country. The clubs out here might be more restrained than they are in NYC, and unfortunately for us out here, we can't see our girls in action unless they actually attend an Allanah party for one to see, but I bet the house that our beautiful girls can hang with any other girls out there ... both literally and figuratively. The girls I saw and met at Peanuts were HOT!

I have to agree, I travel constantly in my line of work and New York has levels of babylon that are unmatched in this country. Even with the recent disneyfication of NYC via the former mayor, there is still that uncurrent of dare, danger, risk and sexiness that is an evening in New York City.

Yeah, New York might well indeed be the only city of its kind in the world on a litany of fronts, and I don't doubt it's greatness and uniqueness for a split second, but so is San Francisco, San Paolo, Paris, Tokyo, London, and Miami Beach, et all. Each of the aforemention has something to offer that simply can't be found anywhere else. These cities might not mimmick the Babylonian club scene New York is carnal act by carnal act, but I doubt they are slouches either. Their past and present contributions to our everyday (pop)culture and society cannot be understated or dismissed. If you want to posit that New York is the epicenter of night life, that's one thing. But don't make it the epicenter of everything, as I get the sense you're saying because, well, I'm sorry, it simply isn't. What's with the tangent anyway ? Where did anyone say New York is something it isn't. All I said, is that beauty is not the sole property of New York, or any other city for that matter, and that the girls from California -- southern California specifically -- can hang with any place in terms of beauty. There are a lot of beautiful TS women out here. A lot! Enough said.
