The time wasting works both ways...scorts tell everyone who calls to come over and they go with the first one who shows up.

Well not all escorts do that. And I assume those who do have been soiled by timewasters before. I tried to play fair game at the beginning but when 90% of calls are non-genuine than all the goodness is gone.

One trans escort wrote that clients would schedule a session, and then start feeling shame as soon as they stopped feeling horny. So they didn't show up and they didn't call to cancel. She said she had to force them to book no more than a couple of hours in advance or she couldn't make a living.

It's not just trans escorts having a problem. A study published a few years ago quoted a cis street based worker to the effect that she had access to the Internet but didn't use it because of the no shows. Some escorts feel that they have to double book just to earn a living.

A lot of this seems to involve cheap ad sites. The escorts who pay for more expensive ad sites are charging more, can afford to spend more time screening, the screening eliminates most of the time wasters, and the escorts are more likely to do advance bookings. Or at least that's the theory.
