Dawin hotel bottom of soi 4 nana is close to the action but quieter part of the soi, smart little boutique style, no joiner fee, as good as the bigger hotels around sukumvit

There's a great little roadside drinks station outside Robinson's dept store on sukhumvit rd lots of ladyboys there working freelance after they've finished their shift at nana. Some stunners and no joiner fee. Good spot for ppl watching too.Run by a thai policeman. Spent a few happy nights there in November

For those going to or thinking of heading to Thailand pls be aware Martial Law has been declared by the military, while you would be very unlucky to experience any major issues as a tourist outside of Bangkok pls keep an eye in developments. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-27465560
