It has always been a simple question for me to answer.
If you truly consider transgender individuals (male-female or female to male) as a third gender,
then attraction to a transgender would automatically make you at least bisexual to some degree. The "straight " went out the window when you knew and took the second look . Personally, once hooked I never looked back.
Like some kind of rank or medallion, some people use the straight, gay ,bi definitions to position themselves on a mutually agreed upon totem pole of who's better or worse, but "A rose by any other name is still the same" .......In addition , the dust is settling on trans-sexual terminology. I can't answer why so many men are attracted to transwomen, but I can answer why I am.

though I do find a variety of women attractive, there are a few traits I tend to stay away from.
I generally am never attracted to women who are short, very hippy or with those with weak shoulders.
