Backpage for fun to see what's out there. Eros to browse. Review sites like the section on here or theeroticreview/eccie and there are some more I don't use. Backpage girls usually don't require references, so that's a red flag for me.

First of all, lets throw Craigslist out of this three way match. I always hear stories about guys finding diamonds in the rough on it. But all I ever gotten when responding to an ad from casual encounters was bots sending me spam.

So in the one on one battle between Eros and Backpages, from my own personal experiences I say its a draw. I have never had an issue with any girl who I contacted through BP when it comes to "bait and switch". Two of my sessions with GG dommes were from ones who advertised on BP. One of the best experiences that I ever had with a TS was through BP. So there is success to be had from it.

The thing to remember is that Backpages and Eros are just two of the tools one use when looking for a provider. The other being research through forums (like Hung Angels and The Erotic Review) and plain old common sense.

One drawback of Eros is that despite its best attempts, it only covers major cities. Yes, you can click a small city in the nearby areas section, but it just lists a bunch of ads that don't mention your town at all.

For small towns, backpage is probably your best bet.
