My favorite is Smith's, unfortunately since they are a couple of miles out of my way, I just go across the street to Walmart. Can be a bit nasty..but then again they do have the most interesting consumers...

I used to go to different stores when I did grocery shopping like Fred Meyers, Safeway, and Walmart. But then I said fuck it, cause I got lazy now I just shop at Walmart for groceries.

I went to a Target in Florida a few weeks ago. They were offering wine tasting. So I asked to have a sip and was told I could only have it if i could produce an ID to prove i am over 18 (or was it 20). Now ANYONE who has met or seen me will know I look, how you say, a little bit older.

ahhh Wegmans. I have a friend from Rochester who will not shut up about how good Wegmans is.

It really is Prospero.Most are really good size so you don't feel like a sardine. I hate small stores. Prices are good also.

Fifteen years ago, I used to work as a bagger at Safeway as a second job. I learned that like public employees, grocery employees are also represented by a union and that the working conditions at Safeway, while not the worst, was less than stellar in my opinion which I don't blame on the union, but any employer that has employees represented by a union is a warning sign regarding the working conditions. For one thing, low-level managerial employees are the biggest assholes in any grocery.

Walmart or Costco or aldi's depending on what I need. Nice this is I don't get the typical "walmart" people at my store, it's fairly conservative.
