Ive said for a long time that the Metal and Punk Rock scene has been extremely accepting of me... actually - and I find myself at a loss for how to describe this - they are not just accepting of me as a TS, they know Im Trans they just dont really care - its a non factor to them.

Every once in a while there will be somebody who is new or I might be out on tour in a place that the crowd doesn't really know and there can be a little initial shock because many people havent ever been around a Trans individual face to face much less met one. But that seldom lasts - Metalhead and Punks often were outcasts themselves... they chose to live a different lifestyle than the mainstream and they know that life can be very different and lived by your own rules.

There is a old saying that says "If you wish to live like an outlaw first you must be willing to be honest with yourself." and there are a lot of people who wouldnt dare do that...

When Sianet Radio and Evil-i studios asked to me be part of their calendar they didnt think of me as being Trans, they simply picked me because they thought I belonged.

For them it wasnt a big deal - speaking for myself I deeply honored and oh so proud of them and all the people in the MPLS music scene that remind me how great things can be when people truly embrace the meaning of diversity.
