I grew up in Boulder, CO when the Donkeys claim to fame was beating Joe & the Jets one year. In college, I was shocked when mid season Denver was tops. By Christmas it was Orange Crush all around Denver. Denver has had 6 super bowls before, having lost their first 4 before Elway won 2 in the 90's.

I moved to Seattle in 84, watched so many Seahawk - Broncos games unsure who to root for. Seattle made their first Superbowl in 05, losing to Pittsburg. This is Seattle's 2nd trip.

Yes smoke will be rising from many a bowl during this game. My blood now runs green, but it felt good this weekend to see my two home teams win - that never happens
