More generalized Gyaru style then. I knew there was a "G" word to describe it... I picked the first term that I saw describing blonde, tan, fashion forward Japanese girls. It was the first thing that popped up. That particular niche style over there is long dead anyhow, one's gonna split hairs state side and I did mention the lack of extravagant make up in the OP, so fuckin' whatever alright?

Whatever this look is called. That's what I'm going after. I know it has a name cause those little rascals name everything.

From the Gyaru wikipedia entry: Ganguro (ガングロギャル): A gyaru with an artificial deep tan and bleached hair. This style was popular in the late 1990s, and early 2000s. The term is no longer used within gal culture. Mostly people out of the loop use it.

That's all it says... it doesn't state that wacky panda makeup was a prerequisite for the look... in the attachment you can see the eye make up is big but it's not outlandish. Just the way I like it.
