I think it's a matter of numbers and locale.
I'm from Dallas so I visit there often. I currently live in Wichita, KS (a shithole).
Everytime I visit dallas I find someone on CL and have a good time.
Never had any luck in Wichita.

I used to hook up on Craigslist a lot when I was in college. I probably met 5 or 6 really cool girls, many of whom I actually formed friendships with. A good majority of them were more crossdresser than full-time TS, but I also met two girlfriends through CL who were well into their transition and I had a pretty fantastic 7 month relationship with one of them. Haven't used the site in years for sexual stuff though.

Sounds like a lot of you guys are confusing "hooking up" with getting a prostitute. Seems like the OP is talking about just finding someone through CL to hook up with, not an escort. CL used to be awesome a number of years ago, there were way less ads constantly flooding in and a higher percentage of them were real people who would actually respond. Nowadays everyone and their mom posts on CL and a huge number of them are either fakes, flakes, pic collector loser or just straight spammers.

Over the years I've met a lot of awesome/hot people through CL and the internet in general, of course you get your dud or "wtf was I thinking" every now and then but for me the good has vastly outweighed the bad. I mean how else does a guy meet a hot TS who wants to play without calling an escort....escorts can be great, but a real encounter where both parties are there because they want to be is a thing of beauty.

Too bad CL is 90% crap nowadays.

I had my first CL hook up last night, finally got a reply from someone after about 20 attempts even though I always send a photo with my response and I am a decent looking guy so it puzzles me the lack of response unless every CD and TV in Houston who isn't a hooker is extremely choosey!

Met said TV in a motel and even though I was panicking I would get robbed/shot/murdered...even went so far as to leave the car running as I knocked on the door (!) for a quick exit it went well. I can honestly say it is extremely hit or miss. I met my first ts gf off cl because she was bored one night and wanted to go out. Had the absolute best time of my life with her.
