Thoughts on Craigslist hookups??

I actually live in Philly, and have yet to have a truly satisfying CL experience. I've had a couple in which the "girl" looked more or less like her picture (yeah, they are all CDs, pros, or both), and we had fun, but there is always (in my experience) some problem: the roommate is in the other room, we only have 45 minutes, no kissing... something that takes away from what I consider the ideal CL encounter: 2 people who like each other's pics just having a hot night of uninhibited sex. I've never been robbed or attacked, but it seems the more attractive t-girls know that they are a rare commodity (especially around here... jeez, Allentown actually seems a bit better than Philly), so they either charge, or have a boyfriend. Does anyone here ever meet any of the girls that advertise in the casual encounters section of craigslist ? There are usually a few from my area (Philadelphia/Allentown), but I've always been afraid I'd wake up at the bottom of a well with someone saying "It puts the lotion on its skin"..

Would love to hear about any positive encounters people have had.

Back before I starting taking hormones, back when I was basically living as a closeted CD, I posted an ad (non-nude pic / no face) looking for a nerdy guy to watch sci-fi movies and have no sex. I put no sex in there like 3 times. I got 133 replies, in about an hour. Then, I took the ad down. Most of replies where aweful. Either just a phone number or dic pic, but some of them actually talked to me like a person.

I ended up having 2 guys over on different nights. One smelled funny, the other wasn't that into it (but I was a little scared having a guy I didn't know in my home and that probably made him uncomphortable). These days, I am single. I get horny and lonely sometimes, but I would not be very interested in a cl hookup anymore. These days, I perfer to date people I meet thru people I actually know.

I'm kinda old-fashioned liking to call and ask how much then which corner to go to before the second call to get the address with unit number. I never tried it. So CL is no good on the DL? Just paying seems like less bullshit unless you're willing to have a conversation with the girl or something. Even if you do the conversation will drift toward how much money you have in your pocket. I'm cynical as all farting heck about broads. I've seen some nice looking CDs on CL that I'm into but as the op says I'm always wary I'm going to get my head kicked and robbed when I get there by a bunch of ne'er do wells. I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen on a regular basis but I'm still wary! Would be great if they were all real and if two people were feeling horny and liked the look of each other could hook up with no strings, money or worries of robbery. Brittany Boykins was actually on there last night advertising but I was dubious about whether it was really her or not and I'd love a roll in the hay with her.

I have actually replied to a few girls on there who were obviously not pros or fakes with properly written replies in Houston and got no where, probably due to the fact they've been bombarded by cock pics and idiots and the decent replies get lost in the mix.

In London a lot of the girls on craigslist are just poor looking cross dressers to judge from the pictures they post. Backpage is more reliable as most of the girls on there advertise in other places so you know they are for real.
