Except Jameson was like the prodigal daughter renouncing the industry and is now just getting back into it. Don't get me wrong; before her retirement she put out some great shit...but later in life bad mouthing the industry that made you loses points with me. I don't recall Gia ever doing that...

As for my co-choice of Vaniity, when I bring up Tgirl porn to (who I believe are) non-consistent viewers they seem to rattle off the same two names the most: Gia Darling and Vaniity. Vaniity might not have her own brand, but she does still have that name recognition...and will so for a long time.

From my perspective, Jenna Jameson's contribution to the industry was to be utterly unique in the way that she achieved both commercial success and recognition.
Therefore, it should not be about whether a TS pornstar is comparable to Jenna but rather whether a TS pornstar is as unique in her impact/influence/success in her industry as Jenna was.

Whilst Vaniity, Gia and I have had the longest presence in the industry, with Wendy Williams only a few years behind, each one of us has achieved a level of success that is without precedent for all but also unique to each.

Whilst Jenna Jameson is considered as unique in her success in the mainstream porn industry, the TS porn industry has more than one "Star" that has achieved success in their own unique way.

So, whilst Jenna Jameson, even during her downfall, remains the flagship of success for the mainstream adult industry, for this forum to choose to debate which TS "Star" is most worthy of association is not nothing short of abhorrent.

I consider Vaniity as probably the best TS performer of all time, Gia Darling changed industry perception as both a performer and producer, I fought TS bigotry against individuals, corporations and governments and survived, and Wendy Williams redefined TS adult industry marketing.

So, who gives a shit about Jenna Jameson when, not only the ones I have just mentioned, but so many other have also made such a difference in TS porn?
