while i always will reject the idea that transwomen are precluded from the workforce and MUST resort to porn/escorting...the fact remains that the act of transition is very expensive and it is an expense that ggirls don't have. that is, transwomen have all the same economic concerns as any other woman with the added expense of surgeries, hormones, therapy sessions, etc. taken together, you have to be insane to think a 12/hr job would sustain the lifestyle.
