Here's an interesting perspective: Recently had a GG escort say that girls who don't see black guys are NOT INDEPENDENT and it's the pimp doing the discriminating. I've personally had girls tell me they don't see black guys, when I know they have (and enjoyed it immensely), and without fail it's because of some dude in their life.

When someone likes an author it's usually on the basis of their writing, the very thing at issue when they read their book. But when someone uses race as a proxy for other qualities, such as trustworthiness, they are both excluding members of the class who are not offending and failing to exclude members outside the class who do have that offensive quality. What I mean is that by using race as a screen, African-Americans without the offending quality are excluded, and Caucasians who have the offensive quality you are attempting to screen for are allowed.

When equal protection cases are litigated they call this both over-inclusive or under-inclusive. It's difficult for me to believe that anyone could think that choosing one person based on relevant attributes is more offensive than excluding an entire race because of the qualities of some members.

If excluding people on the basis of race were not seen as offensive, we wouldn't have a civil rights act. Of course, we do, so perhaps Congress thought saying No Blacks was more offensive than choosing a book by your favorite book club author.

Now be truthful with me about this. If an escort had an ad that said No Jews, you wouldn't be taken aback?

The question is not whether it's their prerogative to do so. But if they said it, you wouldn't think they had something against people of your background. You'd invite them for Passover maybe?

This is actually quite true, except for the reason why. I used to own an escort service, and the real reason is because pimping is supposedly a 'black man's game,' so the possibility that a black client might be a pimp in disguise is why GG escorts aren't 'allowed' to see them.

so you are saying you agree with me then
