The problem here is the generalization, of course. If you extend a dislike for a whole group, and we all know how theoretical, rather than real, such groups really are (there is no "black" not anymore than there is a "white" or a "stupid" or an "evil" positively identifiable group), you simply generalize. As Jamie was saying, you can only judge someone after a certain type of contact.
We all have to suppose, and we largely have, that like most escorts, she had a certain numbers of bad experiences with a certain number of individuals which by a process of induction (making generalization out of one or a few examples), she created a silly rule for herself. In this case she fell into some racist patterns.
But I think it's evident that escorts will be picky, as was said in several posts on this thread. After all, we're talking about sex, damn it! and about a risky business. Personaly, it seems to me that the way she's doing it is completely classless.

I do want to clarify since there seems to be some confusion that private businesses actually aren't allowed to discriminate under the civil rights act and are often sued even when they don't make it express. They can say "we reserve the right to deny service to anyone" but if they do that and have a de facto policy of racist discrimination, they are violating federal law. But none of that matters for activity that is not sanctioned or licensed anyway I agree.

People are allowed to hold racist beliefs, to express racist beliefs, and even to deny that their beliefs are racist after expressing them. But as you say, some people are going to say they think it's racist if they think it is.

As a screening device, of course it's racist to have a couple of bad experiences with a group and through induction exclude all members. If there's a certain type of behavior you're trying to screen, there are always better proxies for it than race.

I think the primary discussion was over whether it was racist rather than whether it is permissible. If there were no transaction involved, it would be an area wholly beyond the scope of the government's regulatory powers based on the right to privacy. As a transaction, it's not even one that's technically legal, so of course it's not going to be regulated. She can fuck who she wants, and she can fuck who she wants for money. She can also express any view she wants, and believe whatever she wants. I don't see any bearing her rights to do these things have on whether she's a racist, since it's not illegal to be one.
