Family guy's most beloved character for 11 seasons was just killed off last week. Kinda sad that they would just off him like that and bring in another dog "Vinny" with an italian accent. and what about brian and stewie's awesome relationship that can never be duplicated?? Really curious to see how this works out for fam guy and their fans. also hopin its a hoax!

I didn't see the episode, but I think it's a setup. I mean, Stewie DOES have a working time machine, right?

Not any more. He destroyed it prior to Brian getting killed off. Regardless, future episodes this season have Brian in the title so I wouldn't say we've seen the last of him. It's a cartoon after all.

I hope they do bring Brian back. Vinnie sucks. The Brian/Stewie relationship was the best one on the show.

It's just MacFarlane being lazy/tired and wanting to do less work on the show (namely, voicing Brian plus other characters). He's gone on record many times at this point that he's sick of the show. A classy way would be to have Brian move out and become a writer or college faculty or something. But that's not SM's style, gotta do the gratuitous violence thing.
