Yeah, it's very hard to do. Take Sasha Grey for example. She has been trying to go down the line of the actress path for a long time after leaving the porn industry. Even years and years after getting out of the industry she still can't get any big (realistic acting) parts because of her reputation as a pornstar. I'm not saying she hasn't done anything though. She's done tons of little bits that add up and played lots of whores in some big hits. Such as the Space Bound Eminem music video, her own music projects, playing a escort in "Chelsea" (which I'm not trying to down much because that is a big thing as a lead role, but not out side the realm of too much acting on her part), and little bit parts. I truly do believe there is a invisible ceiling for famous pornstars that do try to convert to mainstream media. So far I think one of the biggest things she's famous for is Entourage and even that she was basically playing herself.

I can't speak for Mia being "all downhill" but it was clear that you were more interested in being "Cpt. SaveAHoe" than having any real business acumen in this industry, which is why I didn't pay much mind.

We've had Mia back since then, she was in a Buddy Wood ShemalePornstar shoot which went down very well. If she picked my brain in Hawaii she wasted her time, I pretty much put everything out there to read on site's like this, like an open book.

You asked "...who writes this crap?" which is possibly the only worthwhile contribution you've added to this thread. It's written by the individuals or their PR - news outlets like Xbiz and AVN pick it up as it makes a fun or interesting headline and they're also looking to appease those people, so they'll advertise in their publications. Most of the Press Releases are bumph (or crap as you put it) and pretty worthless. I have no idea on the veracity of this release but I do congratulate them (or Mia) on getting a good piece of publicity as this thread as shown.
