I think my original question was why so many "bad" tattoos on trannys, and one of the above posters likely lurched into one of the major factors: extreme body dysmorphia. That would explain their desire to cover their bodies in "ink." However, it would not explain the poor quality of many of the tattoos (regardless of subject matter). The girl with the giant semi-truck on her back looks like it was done at the local juvenile hall. If you are going to get inked up at least spend the money to have a decent artist do the work.

As to Ms. French, glad to hear you are living the dream sweetheart. I will have to engage your services one of these days (but only after you have FFS and up the dose of your lithium). I suppose in addition to being unable to comment on inappropriate body art, that I also shouldn't comment on some people's bipolar reaction to such criticism.

is 'bad ink' a terrible tattoo such that it looks like a blind parkinsonian retard did it?
is 'bad ink' too many tats? (how defines to many?)
is 'bad ink' improper placement? (who defines "improper"?) or
is 'bad ink' just a matter of opinion, i.e. you think a girl getting a truck as a tramp stamp is a bad idea?

short of just fucked up art because the artist sucked, 'bad ink' is too subjective.

I don't know...generic, cliche tats like leopard spots, paw prints, stars are bad ink. Text tats are bad ink - trite, hackneyed sayings or bible verse or something. Don't expect me to read you, they're not that deep. Tats on the face or neck are pretty bad - there were pics of a Colombian girl in some other thread that had the Luis Vuitton design covering her whole neck front to back. Pretty awful and completely superficial. Then again maybe this is just my opinion.
