    Default Read them all

And there is another series with another action guy similar to Dirk Pitt also done by Clive Cussler. The books are just fun to read. Read escapist literature.

    Default Clive Cussler

Yes, I've read many/most? of his Dirk Pitt novels.I still think the earlier ones like Mediterranean Caper ,Vixen 03 ,Iceberg with Dirk+ Al Giordano were my favorites, although I imagine Pitts daughter" Summer" to be a real babe!

I read White Death. What a load of fucking crap. Really.

Albino Eskimo, trying to take over the world's fish stock by releasing genetically engineered devil fish into the oceans which eat all the regular fish. He keeps a stock of regular fish to hold the world ransom with. Burk Pitts saves the day with the help of his trusty sidekicks, the hippy lab fags, and an old Basque Spaniard millionairre who is also after the Albino Eskimo because he stole a sacred sword from him.

Burk kills the bad guy on an airship with said sword.

What an absolute load of shit.

"White Death" was kind of hokey, but we're talking about fun, light reading,
    not timeless works of literature.

P.S. and for more "lite" summer reading, anything by Carl Hiaasen!
