(Fake profiles) What's the worst that could happen?

I was wondering if anyone had any interesting stories or versions of events leading from getting in contact with a fake profile. There seem to be a whole host of profiles on various sites which don't seem to feel right or appear a little too good to be true. I am quite selective in who I see and try to do a bit of scouting around on here first. The worst thing that has ever happen to me (thankfully) was rang up and it was a dead number and on another occasion a silly voicemail with the looney tunes theme playing.

It would be interesting to find out your stories.
