I was really surprised how this thread took off. Never expected anything close to this much attention.

I remember a couple years ago when I was in school my art professor often questioned what is beauty. Something I have never understood. She wondered if beauty is based on height, weight, symmetry, color, depth, dimension, etc. I have no clue, but I know I will never understand it and surprised my mentor has never understood it either.

Beauty in art, is a great question. I remember having a discussion in what appeals to people in art. Especially if you look at many of the abstract art forms, you will find the art to be lacking in the traditional beauty. Nonetheless a majority agreed upon what is beauty is says a lot. So you nothing to worry about.
