babe- i'm not doubting your right to make an argument
i just think general assesments of every situation are not fair and dangerous.

here are a few

transsexuals=confused gay men
homosexuals=pedophiles
porn=exploitation of children- and so on, and so on

the legal age to do things and age of consent are all a product of each culture, nationm, and such.

why people can drink @ 16, 18 in Europe and 21 here legally? what is the difference? why are their variations in the age of consent and what is considered statuatoru rape varies from state to state? why where kids getting married @ 13 in India @ the turn of the century?

these are all questions that are answered by culture, what is acceptable @ the time, and public attitudes.

of course the exploitation of children is wrong- and child porn is wrong.
unfortunately, it does happen in the world- and probably has been around for longer that i care to think about

example- i belong Adult Sites Advocating Child Protection- a.k.a. A.S.A.C.P.
i once got a really questionable email from a website saying something about young lolitas- fearing it was a child porn site- i send them the email right away. they responded saying that these kind of sites go up and down right away, are usually off shore, and its a network or pedophiles. sites like this are not open to stay in bix publicly because they have to hide from the law.

again- i think any website operating legally- would be shut down in an instantly if the content was explicit child porn.

I can feel strongly about a lot of things but I don't go around accusing people of supporting child porn
