Re: Wall of Shame
He didn't cheat at baseball, The "American" pasttime. Plus there is a tradition with American Sports teams to commend the best players who have represented said team in a wall of honor. guess there was more to be said lol.

Re: Wall of Shame
The MLB has been full of cheaters for a long time. Not too surprised about A-Rod.

Re: Wall of Shame
Bonds would have been great without the steroids. I think Reggie Jackson said he thought Bonds would have hit about 680 home runs without steroids and McGwire may have gotten about 500. Certainly Bonds was the best of his era, but unfortunately the cheating tarnishes his reputation and keeps him from being considered with the likes of Ruth, Mays, Williams, and Aaron etc.

Re: Wall of Shame
I think Bonds deserves to be in the hall of fame and Pete Rose as well though I understand the arguments against. I just think these guys were such standouts that their excellence should be recognized though more borderline cases should not be considered.

Re: Wall of Shame
The thing is none of these guy's needed drugs they were all ready great players. They should have stayed clean, and did it the right way. Pete Rose imo has served his punishment he should be in. The others and don't forget Sammy Sosa, NO!
