Amber,, I kinda like you, you are firm on what you believe, this is a good thing. You are not afraid to make a stand in what you believe, you even stood up to my ideas, didn't change my mind any but you had your views and stuck to them. If you leave the forum, do so for other reasons, like for me the forum is boring as hell, that's why I left, same old garbage churning out day after day. Don't leave cause there are idiots here, do like you did in past posts, stand up and defend your ideals.

Of note, I dislike most of what Natina says but would never have banned her cause some lonely old fart member of this forum made a sissy rant against her, he should be a man and stop whining.

Im a bit upset for Amber going...My advice is Amber to not let them get you ...racism will be always here and everywhere ...and racist people are the ones who has a sad life ...i feel sorry for this sad people.

There are three options we have when confronted by racism and other prejudices and/or opinions that we find not only generally objectionable but believe to create personal offense.

1. Fight (in this context post back)

2. Flee (leave the community)

3. Choose to ignore the ignorant, the sick hearted and stop looking at their posts but let your voice continue to be heard by others on other topics of importance.

Racism has no place in society but sadly it does, I have no idea how many slights and cuts Amber felt she had either done 1 or 3. But to those that say goodbye threads are silly, there are plenty of folks that don't have a probably with a fellow poster saying see you later and giving others a chance to wish her health and prosperity.

OMG, I just realized something,,, I am a racist,, hanging with bikers will do that to one. Maybe I should get out more. Still, whatever I am doesn't mean that Amber should not stand her ground. Just sometimes I stand over here, on a differing ground,, not really totally my fault,,, just my environment, one has to fit in ones crowd to survive. To be fair, I never followed up or expected a reply. It was really more of a venting on my part to write the letter. I was stewing about it in the car all the way home.

I can tell you this though... it was REALLY great to hear people clap and see the couple walk out behind me as well.
