Kissing is more intimate. Sex is generally just activity focused on achieving an orgasm, nothing wrong with that, but it can be done for a variety of reasons (mostly just for fun).

i also think kissing can be more intimate then sex... when my ex and i were seperated for the 2yrs we were having sex we almost never kissed and when we did it was soooo much more exciting for both of us and made our sex that much more intimate....
