What do you do when you are in Vegas

I meet what casinos do you visit, shows, restaurants, clubs etc

I am going alone and want to make the best of it..
What should I do while I am there?

Any must eats? Must see shows? Clubs I have to check?

Eh...I usually visit friends and family. We then would go to a random casino and just hangout.

I will admit Blue Man Group was pretty good.

Red Rock Canyon if you can get there and are an outdoors type.

Go see Absinthe at Caesars Palace, best show out there now. It's hysterical and has some crazy acrobatics in a very tight space. If you like Cirque de Soliel shows, the Beatles one is good and so is KA, but a performer just fell and died at KA so make sure its actually still performing. It may be shut down.

For people watching, Chandelier Bar at Cosmo.

If you gamble, go downtown or to a locals casino. I recommend the D and Golden Gate downtown, Red Rock if you don't mind going way off strip.

For hiking find the trails out by Red Rock or in Mountain's Edge. Some gorgeous country, but if you're coming soon mind the heat. It's been pretty close to 115 degrees for the better part of a week and that's not good weather to be outside in.

The best bars are now downtown, on Fremont East. The Griffin, Commonwealth, Insert Coin on Fremont, and a bunch of other ones who's names elude me now on Main. Velveteen Rabbit is pretty cool, and Frankie's Tiki Room is an insanely fun time. Hogs and Heifers is ok if you like the Coyote Ugly type thing.

Clubs I'd go with XS or Surrender if you're by yourself. They aren't dicks about having to have a large party of women with you to get in. You'll have to wait to get in, but at least you will eventually get in. All the rest bitch and moan about solo males or groups of males unless you're buying a table. If you're determined to chase you can try 1OAK, I've always seen more TS women there than anywhere else, but I personally hate the club and its music. It's just JET with a paint job.

Pools are good too. Pool Parties operate the same as the clubs, so I'd stick with Encore Beach Club. Same reason as XS and Surrender, they won't hassle you too much about being solo. For hotel pools most require you to stay there unless you go off strip. Red Rock has a nice one, and so does the M resort on the far south end of the strip.

For food, you'd have to let me know what you like. If you want a buffet you have to go with Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars. It's insanely large and has so many selections you'll not want to leave. But it is pricey.

Oh, to the OP, if you're coming out here soon be mindful of where you go. We have a huge wildfire on Mt. Charleston that's dumping smoke in the whole valley, so if you have asthma or any lung issues you may want to stay indoors. It also kills some of the hiking you might want to do as Red Rock trails go up that way too.

Such a shame, Mt. Charleston is absolutely beautiful. If you come out here in winter its a great time to head up to the mountain and get a cottage.
