Does POV work in TS porn?

I like POV because:
a) I never, ever, ever, want to see the guy's face, and
d) I want the guy as invisible as possible, and it does tend to make the guy SHUT THE FUCK UP, which is very very good indeed
f) NOT how it's done. NO male arses, not ever.

Nothing drives me more crazy than some dummy with a camera that can't hold it steady for 2 seconds and doesn't know even the basics of lighting.

...hideous popping, crackling and rubbing noises, which also tends to happen in non POV shoots too (for some reason).

...the reason being money and/or laziness...b/c they're using the mike on the camera instead of a separate boom...nice to see Rodney finally upgraded his equipment...on some o those SMStrkrs you can even hear the gears grinding when he operates the zoom feature. Of course, w/ a minimum of time and effort this can all be edited out of the soundtrack in post, but it's rarely done. A pet peeve of mine that really frosts my flakes because it destroys the hotness of many an otherwise fine scene

Don't know if this counts as POV, but it's one of the hottest scenes i ever saw (and i saw many) and i'm not even a fan of Jonelle.

POV TOTALLY WORKS!! In every possible form of film or video...if done right. It's a style!!

My first few DVDs (back in the day) were ALL POV and I treated the idea of the viewer living through me, my dick and the actions he would see through my camera very seriously. lol Girls had to talk into the camera and not to me. We'd set up scenarios where the guys could feel like they were the ones meeting the girls while out. It's point of view!! The whole idea is to give the viewer the idea that...it's him!!! That's awesome in porn!!

My inspiration was always good horror films like John Carpenter's Halloween. Or Brian DePalma films. They are filled with POV to scare and fill viewers with suspense. Same can be done to turn viewers on!

POV is obviously always gonna have certain shot limitations. YOu can't get everything. But the fact that the viewer is getting all the action as if it were him hopefully makes up for that...and when it's the guys POV you basically get everything but the girl's dick getting sucked.

But yeah...shakey camera and camera noise can totally ruin it. You still gotta have a good editor.

Last POV scene I did was for Buddy Wood's Shemale Bedtime Stories. I fucked Jessica Host AND Jesse Flores!! it was fun!!

To me that is kinda weird. You don't normally see one scene out of many in a DVD to be POV. Normally the entire DVD is one way or another.

Too bad Grooby never booked Jessica Host as a bottom in a non-pov scene.

You think it's weird that there's one scene that's POV and the rest are not?? It's called variety Franklin!! Come on. It's what most of this industry is based upon. Or should be! What's even weirder though is the movie is a story all told in flashbacks and I still got a POV in there!!

And I'm pretty sure Jessica Host has few scenes as a bottom through Grooby. Doesn't she have a whole DVD?? Or does she only top in it? I could be wrong. Yes, POV works very well when properly selected and properly edited. No, of course it doesn't work for everything, nor does it work all the time. That said, I must confess that I love it.

all of the proponents of POV give 1 off examples of how they did it. That's great, but i thought we were talking about a series or an entire DVD.

Radius Dark - gave 1 single example
Buddy Wood - a single example
Jonelle Brooks - 1 example

everything gives 1 example of their fantastic POV scenes. If they were all that great, you would see an entire DVD or website. That's what I was talking about. I don't think it would work other than a singular change-of-pace scene like what Buddy Wood did. #endrant
