Default GLASTONBURY 2013! Praying for sunshine

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY!!!!!! - Here's hoping!!!

Today I received the news that I have been praying all year for....

A beautiful friend who has been granted an honorary life long free pass to Glastonbury for his service to the festival of over 30 years has just given me his now not needed tickets for this weekend

It used to be my lovely humble yearly retreat however having experienced 2 rainy years I have steered clear for the past 8 years...

Starting to fear that I maybe past it all now BUT all the same I am looking forward to a few days surrounded by happy party people.

    Is anyone else going!?!?

Or am I the only lover of mass populated fields of nylon tents and boggy marshes in here?!?!?

I gave up on vast open air music festivals - unless they are one day events - a long times ago. Mud, misery, vast crowds, overflowing toilets, poor music on stages too far away too see.... what fun! I think the only festival I'd thin of attending now is the Burning man thing - and that is because it is in the middle of the desert.

Youngblood... Glastonbury is a huge several day long music festival - but with lots of other things, theatre, humour etc etc.... a big gathering of the tribes

I surely hope the OP's prayers are answered.... and will she be trailing a group of mud spattered ladyboys with her through the murk?
