I'm not surprised by this. Bill Belichick can't change everybody to the Patriot Way!

Now he can be the thug he fantasized to be. The handcuffs, the orange jumpsuits, the gang affiliation designation, living the life through the lyrics of so-called rap. He's got it all now. I hope he's got a good thump game because somebody is going to knock his ass out just to catch a rep off of him

You know when I think back to when I was a kid and idolizing Lyle Alzado and the shit he did off the field (from a 1984 People's magazine, "...and the 35-year-old maniacal-looking Alzado makes himself out to be a kind of sociopathic Will Rogers. "I never knew a man," he jokes, "that I didn't want to fight."), but we considered them bad boys. Now the game has escalated from simple fighting to having a thug life with guns and knives.

From my understanding Hernandez grew up in a bad area so having friends growing up probably kept him alive or running with a bad group kept him alive. So breaking him from that group of people is not going to be easy, especially if they had his back more often than not. And the sad part is, there is no easy way to get them out of that mentality. Have them break away from those friends (true friends - through thick and thin), and finding people who are his friends only because of his name and money in my opinion is worse than the former.

Listening to the radio and hearing people who want to blame the NFL, the Patriots, the Agent, the parent(s), the government...blah blah blah. Sorry but in honesty he is a big boy, he is an adult (23 is adult right?). There is no one to blame but himself, he knew the consequences. However, if he is given a lesser charge and given a few years in jail...he'll be back in a uniform - worked well for Mike Vick.
