way out is not that great anymore
It was good when they had a permanent venue but every week they change their venue
today they changed to Jaegar bar and it took me £8 to get frm their usual venue to their new venue. Once there (at 1am), I was asked to pay a further £12 .. I refused as I had to already pay £8 for taxi and there were only about 8 people in Jaegar bar! Reallly bad - after 6 years of frequenting Wayout club I decided I will not go there anymore after these bad experiences (last week they again changed venues without notice ...)

last few times I have been to Wayout club has been really bad. Last week, they only had about 7-8 people in there

Mondays are meant to be transsexual night at Heaven nightclub and I visited - it only had about 4-5 transsexuals and none that were attractive. Shame London scene has died over the last 7 years. This wednesday i was at madame jojos which is usually quite a good venue but once again it was absolutely empty (ok maybe about 20-25 people but nothing compared to the 100 or so it often gets I guess)

It has been AGES since this thread was updated or commented upon.
Some of the clubs mentioned have closed down , e.g Stunners and Candygirls and Madame JoJo's.

There are LOTS of new venues plus lots of private party type events.

There have been articles in the press over the last year that suggest night-clubs, like pubs, are in decline. I wonder if the private party is the preferred form of social event to a club, or if people who want sex are skipping the public space altogether and making arrangements on the internet? After all, I don't think most men go to clubs to dance and drink, they want to get laid, and if there is no guarantee, why bother going to all that fuss and spending all that money when you can make an alternative arrangement with a result?

Stunners was on Cable Street in the East End near Limehouse (incidentally, Limehouse was home to probably the oldest established Chinese community in London), there are reviews of Ted's Place in the Escort section you may have to do a search to find them.
