Default Glam or Girl next door?

I feel like a lot of performers go for the glam look with the makeup, hair, and clothing to go with it but there's also a couple performers who have more of the girl next door look. I'm curious which you all prefer in your women.

I always found artifice in women to be an artifice of nature. Makeup and nice clothes on a woman are fabulous; it's like the most beautiful gift: even more tantalizing when well wrap (well, I guess the comparison is a bit vulgar, but you get the picture, I'm sure, Amy). Then again, it seems to me you would indeed be wonderful both ways.

    Neither...

Glam is overdone, it is empty, it is often a caricature of a woman and seems like an act that comes off as easily as all the makeup at the end of the night.

Girl next door is too boring, too "every day" (and in porn, often not really "girl next door"...it always seems so forced, and again, an act).

Instead, stylish women! It is fine to still use some makeup, still pay attention to how they look...but they are pretty in a "real" way (that is more than just trying to please the viewer or put on an act).

Therefore, to be possess'd with double pomp,
To guard a title that was rich before,
To gild refined gold, to paint the lily,
To throw a perfume on the violet,
To smooth the ice, or add another hue
Unto the rainbow, or with taper-light
To seek the beauteous eye of heaven to garnish,
    Is wasteful and ridiculous excess.

Sorry, I'm a huge Shakespeare and Marlowe fan. You comment reminded me of that.
