    Default losing weight fast

    any tips on loosing weight fast , particularly around the stomach, I have limited time for exercise and I work a lot of hrs

    A friend of mine is counting calories. He's middle aged and has lost about 30 pounds in 10 weeks. No exercise at all--he's a sedentary sloth.

    1) If you drink anything besides water... start drinking water only.
    2) When you think you are hungry - drink a glass of water. Only eat if you're hungry 1 1/2 hr after drinking the water.
    3) Make time to exercise (cardio)- even if it's just running in place while watching TV.
    4) Get full nights of sleep.

    Any time I need to lose weight I just count calories and lay off alcohol, that simple. Tea and coffee are ok, as much fresh fruit and raw greens as I want (okay so be reasonable) no Camembert or paté de foie gras (uhuhuh). I stick to simple staple carbs, rice, pasta and couscous and eat really low-cal sauces with them...something like tomato/basil/olives or spinach/garlic/olives (no Parmesan). One or two portions of poached fish or rare steak per week. (hint a portion is 4oz or 125 g. Not a pound, like.) 1 bottle of dry red a week is OK. NO BREAD.

    I find if I limit the staples to 4x100 gramme (dry) servings a day, it comes off no bother, and I don't feel like I'm starving. I'm 5'11", middle-aged and not that active, but not completely sedentary. I like to be around 180, but I noticed a while ago that I put on weight when I need a divorce. Go figure.

    However you do have to be strict--NO CHEATING.

    Try the keto or paleo diet and get active.

    I'm doing C25k and it has been great way to ease myself into regular exercise while avoiding injury or quitting. I used to ride my mountain bike to work. The pounds melted off me really quick but I couldn't keep it going.

    Just started insanity, took me a week to get thru 4days of workouts because of all the soarness but i lost 5lb eating right and doing those workouts. Each video is only 35-40min long and once you have completed the video i guarantee you will be floored and dripping w sweat. I plan on finishing insanity, will post my results but to any and all who want to shed some weight and dont have much time on your hands i highly recommend it. I wake up 40min early and do this first thing,that way I'm not only active throughout the day i dont have to worry bout working out in the evening when im all tired.
