Allison Giuva texted a friend about how drunk she was before getting into her car early Saturday morning. Moments later, she allegedly crashed into another vehicle and injured the two victims inside.

She has pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence and driving to endanger. But the 20-year-old woman might want to think hard about how she'll explain this text in court.

A tragic bride has told of her anguish after her husband-to-be was murdered by his friends at his bachelor party.

Mandy Hammond, 41, was left heartbroken after her fiance was brutally beaten to death the night before their wedding, according to The Sun.

Groom Ramsey Raulinautis, 35, went out with pals to celebrate his "last night of freedom”.

She told how the police called at her door in the early hours to say Ramsey was dead and four of his friends had been arrested.

An American woman was gang-raped Tuesday in the northern Indian resort town of Manali, police said.

The 30-year-old woman was picked up early Tuesday morning by men in a truck as she was hitchhiking back to her guest house after visiting a friend, police officer Sher Singh said.

The three men in the truck then drove to a secluded spot and raped her, he said. She went to police and they filed a rape case.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday afternoon, Singh said.

Cops claims the Hastings High School educator would hang around her alleged victim's classroom, even though she wasn't her teacher.

Court documents allege she took her to a Starbucks for coffee on March 21 and confessed about the inappropriate dream.

Seven days later she texted the girl to say she'd split up with her boyfriend and that she had "romantic" feelings for her.

They met up the next evening and "kissed passionately."

The following day they went to a sex shop to buy a toy before going back to Garcia's home for sex.

They are then alleged to have had sex several more times over the following week.

Fellow teachers became suspicious after hearing rumors of the affair.

But, despite being under investigation, Garcia allegedly kept on meeting up with the girl.

Police claim the teenager's dad caught the pair together at a park on May 21, but Garcia jumped in her car and drove off before he could confront her.

Garcia, who has been charged with indecency with a child and sexual assault of a child, was suspended from her job.

Cheerleader in Minn. accused of prostituting fellow teen on Backpage.com

Montia Marie Parker, 18, allegedly set up a Backpage.com ad for a 16-year-old, driving the other girl to an apartment to have oral sex with a man and taking the $60 he paid. Authorities allege the two teens drove to another home the next day, but left after that man refused oral sex.



Montia Marie Parker, 18, of Maple Grove, faces felony charges of sex trafficking and promoting prostitution. She is scheduled to appear in court June 12.

Parker was a senior at Hopkins High School when she allegedly set up a Backpage.com ad for a 16-year-old, driving her to an apartment to have oral sex with a man and taking the $60 the girl made. Authorities allege Parker and the girl drove to another home the next day, but left after the man refused oral sex.

The girl’s mother called police after reading text messages between her daughter and Parker on the girl’s cellphone, the Star Tribune reported.

Parker originally was planning to do her own escorting but was deemed "too ugly" by a panel of potential Johns.

Former New York-Presbyterian doctor sued for sexual assault

Two women filed suit against Dr. Robert Hadden, who they said performed oral sex on them when they were patients who visited his gynecology office.



Police sources confirmed that they had a report about a June 29 sexual assault involving Hadden, and that he was taken into custody the following day, but the record was sealed.

Hadden stopped seeing patients in his Fort Washington Ave. office in September. He did not return calls to his home.

Hadden's bail agreement requires him to wear a surgical mask whenever he is more than 50ft from his residence.

Westchester mom ran million-dollar marijuana operation out of Queens warehouse

Andrea Sanderlin of Scarsdale has been charged with conspiracy to manufacture and distribute 1,000 or more pot plants. Authorities say they seized about 2,800 pot plants from the site of Fantastic Enterprises in Maspeth Queens.



Sanderlin was cooling her heels Tuesday in a Brooklyn lockup and facing up to 10 years in prison for running what the feds described as a “sophisticated operation to grow and process marijuana.”

The 45-year-old blond’s arrest came as a jolt to people who knew her as the doting mom of two girls, ages 3 and 13, who tooled around her Westchester town in a Mercedes SUV and lived in a sprawling, five-bedroom house.

“She seemed like every other mom with a multi-million dollar pot growing business,” said Scott Tarter at the Twin Lakes Farm in Bronxville, where Sanderlin rode horses and one of her daughters is in the riding academy. “I did find it odd that she hadn’t been around for a couple of weeks.”

Doing very dirty deeds: Veteran porn star gets 30 days in jail for knowingly exposing co-stars to syphilis



Porn star Jesse Spencer, aka Mr. Marcus, knowingly exposed two female co-stars to syphilis in July, 2012.

The veteran porn actor known as Mr. Marcus was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in jail after pleading no contest to knowingly exposing his co-stars to syphilis.

The 42-year-old actor, whose real name is Jesse Spencer, was also ordered to perform 15 days of community service and serve three years on probation.

His infection was discovered in July 2012 during a routine industry screening before he was to begin making a film. He immediately received a penicillin shot, but when he was rescreened 11 days later he still showed signs of syphilis. Authorities say he altered the results of that second test and returned to work the following day.

Spencer is jailed on $200,000 bail in an unrelated drunken driving case. An email was sent to his management company seeking comment.

Spencer has said previously he thought he was no longer infectious when he returned to work.

Prosecutors said he took part in two adult movie shoots within a week of failing the second test.

Two actresses who worked with him contacted police after a producer discovered the altered test result. Neither woman contracted syphilis, the city attorney's office said.

Spencer was one of nearly a dozen porn actors who tested positive during a syphilis outbreak last summer that led industry officials to briefly call for a moratorium on filming.

In November, Los Angeles County voters approved a ballot initiative requiring porn actors use condoms for most film shoots. The industry has sued to overturn the law, arguing that its own testing guidelines for sexually transmitted diseases are sufficient.

A 66-year-old man visited the doctor for abdominal pain and received a stunning diagnosis: He is genetically a woman.

The Chinese patient, raised as male, is short in stature at just 4 feet, 5 inches, is able to grow a beard, and has sexually ambiguous genitals, with a micropenis and no detectable testicles, doctors at Hong Kong's Kwong Wah Hospital noted.

When doctors examined him further, they found he has the internal organs of a female, and that his stomach pain was caused by a large, benign ovarian cyst.

The patient has a rare combination of Turner syndrome and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), doctors determined. Turner syndrome occurs when a female lacks two X chromosomes, while CAH affects the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands. Both can interfere with the development of reproductive organs and the appearance of secondary sex characteristics.

"The patient, by definition, is a woman who cannot get pregnant. But she also has CAH, which gave her the appearance of a man," Chinese University pediatrics professor Ellis Hon Kam-lun told the South China Morning Post. "It's an interesting and very rare case of having the two combinations. It probably won't be seen again in the near future."

The patient intends to keep living as a man and may undergo hormone replacement therapy, doctors said.

Co-hosts of radio show 'The Pursuit of Happiness' committed suicide



Lynne Rosen was a psychotherapist who co-hosted the show 'The Pursuit of Happiness' with motivational speaker John Littig. The Brooklyn couple committed suicide together last week by putting plastic bags over their heads and inhaling helium.

The couple, who were found dead on a couch in the living room of their Park Slope apartment, left behind two notes, police said Wednesday.

“We’re going to do this together,” was the gist of Littig’s note, sources said.

Littig said, without explanation, that he could not watch his wife suffer any more.

“Her note basically said she was sorry for doing this,” a police source said. “We believe she had some psychological problems.”

Until their decomposing bodies were found Monday, the couple had been best known as the hosts of a self-help radio show on WBAI-FM.

They used what’s described on the FDNY web site as “exit bags” to kill themselves.

They are “fast becoming one of the most prescribed forms of Euthanasia worldwide,” the site says. “They are said to provide a fast, peaceful, undetectable death to those wishing to commit suicide.”

Joseph Brooks, the songwriter who composed “You Light Up My Life” which became a hit for Debby Boone, used the same kind of helium-filled bag to kill himself two years ago after he was accused of raping 13 women.

That last story about the double suicide of the radio hosts bothers me a bit. It reminded me of how I felt when Kurt Cobain checked out. I was 11 years old at the time and didn't quite understand it. Suicide is such a tragedy since mental illness has a negative stigma attached to it.
