I vote for Hugh Laurie! Jk too old.

He's rumoured to be in the running, and the Doctor wasn't always played by a young guy. William Hartnell and John Pertwee were old dudes. Some think the Doctor should go older again this time around.

Would be turned off very much by Rupert Grint being the 12th

I'd be cool with Rupert Grint, he's got the ability to do the humor, is young enough to do the physical parts of it, and would finally be a ginger (since the last Doc was upset at not being one.)

Erm Paul McGann was born in Liverpool England. The Doctor TV movie was "American" & actually McGann was very good in the big finnish audio stories

Fox did it, Fox sucks, no American can do Doctor Who. Because McGann did it, it makes him more of an American and thus, sucks. I am sure he is a great person but "once you go Fox, you smell of rotted cocks." ( yeah, i just made that up, but it's true )
