These non-citizens were informed, in both English and Spanish, that they were registered to vote as a Democrat and given a special identification card to "help...voting go more smoothly."
-Ex Gov. Gray Davis motor voter law allowed foreigners a driver`s license, one need only lie about their immigration status and they were able to register to vote.
-D.C., Mayor Anthony Williams when speaking of non-citizens voting, ” committed to expanding the franchise…it isn't citizenship.”
-Voter ID requirements were vetoed by Democratic governors in states like New Hampshire, Kansas and Wisconsin,New Mexico.
-Matricula ID's,given out by Mexico, is accepted as a valid form of identification by police departments, banks and 12 states for driver's license applications." Next step, register to vote.
The House got it right. The Senate, half the Republicans and virtually all the Democrats are way off base on this one.Inluding the POTUS.

Blatantly registering foreigners? The chimp-in-chief is most certainly using this issue as a desperate attempt to boost his historically low poll ratings, anyway...even though he blatantly pandered to the immigrant vote in his (un)election campaign...
And despite my mixed feelings on the immigration issue, and it's impact on american labor, let's not forget that we are a nation of immigrants here in the USA...
And it's also good to know that Canada has it's own bigoted, reich-wing assholes like yourself to deal with, not just the USA...

I think Bush was escorting this woman, and her seditious flag, to the border, not trying to get her vote. LOL

And Laura meant it was ok to sing the national anthem in Mexico, not here in America. After all, since our country was founded, there has never been Spanish version of the National anthem

I'm not sure how I feel about this issue, but I'm glad that it's getting attention. The legal immigration route is a nightmare.

The second story really highlights the mountain of bureaucracy that must be climbed.

oops, my bad
in 1919, the U.S. Bureau of Education commissioned a Spanish-language version of “The Star Spangled Banner.” The State Department’s website also features four-separate versions of the anthem in Spanish.
