The selective memory and double standards on this site are amusing. Wishing death and AIDS upon people on here I have only read coming from trannies. The most brutal and nasty flamewars on here were between trannies. But hey, please continue with the myth of "men driving the girls away" for all I care.

That said, and going back to the original topic, some criticism you will have to deal with if you put yourself out there. I organize events, parties and exhibitions for a living, and no matter how much effort I put in it, there is always 5% of assclowns you can't satisfy. And it's usually those 5% who will try hard to get themselves heard in one way or the other.

Sexy British accents? Well the softness of a Welsh lilt in a girl's voice always does it for me. A soft Scottish brogue can be good - but not your incomprehensible Glaswegian accent. Scouse girls (hiya Sammi) are cool, but brummie is a turn off.

American accents... there are sooo many. "The southern girls with the way they talk, they turn me on when I'm down there", but a broad old fashioned Noo Yawk accent is sassy and sexy.... though Boston is not so cool, especially if they sound like lloyd Grossman.

And from across Europe. Well French of course.... and i rather like the Polish accent and some Russian girls.

Lovely Karla, I think Quiet Reflections is right on the money on that one: you should try to take any bad comment as a disguised or misguided compliment. Most of the time, when someone find some nasty stuff to say about you, it's their own insecurity or envy or frustration that they really express, and it's precisely what they find intimidating in you that sets it off. Or else, why would they get out of their way to do so? why would they take the time to do it? You don't care about what's totally indifferent to you, you just don't even pay attention to it. Someone who takes the time to criticize you is noticing something he/she feels uncomfortable about. That's as simple as that to me, most of the time...

I think some of the worst for driving the girls away get really nasty with private messages. That's really common on dating sites as well.
