The Giants needed O-line help and got that, just not sure if he was drafted too high. The D-line picks were ok, but I was kinda hoping they'd grab another corner in round 2 or 3. The Nassib pick--eh, yes, I think he was rated higher than he went, but, honestly, I don't think he'll do anything for the team except be trade bait, and even then, I don't know what value he'd bring to the table.

Pleased with what the Rams did. Moving up to get Austin was a good move, he wasn't going to be there at 16 so the Rams moved up. Loved the Barrett Jones pick, solid O-lineman and a winner. Rams did a nice job, they have to keep improving because the NFC west is gonna be a beast this fall.

True, but if Eli goes down, we're fucked. And not the good kind of fucked, either.

I agree, I don't know why Nassib dropped so far. I thought he was at least a 2nd rounder. Guess that's why I'm not a scout/gm.

His own Coach didn't draft him. That alone probably set off red flags. If Marrone his own College Coach who had him for 4yrs didn't pull the trigger something was up.

For that reason, it must have been an agonizing decision for Coach Marrone. He owes his new team his best coaching judgement but had to know passing on Nassib would relegate the kid to the trash heap.

who knows? maybe Gints got themselves a fourth round future star.
