I did the electrode-acupuncture where they hit the points of the body that makes smoking less desirable. Damn thing worked nicely for about six months...but I was doing loans at the time and anything that could go wrong did with the clients - broke down and had to smoke.....

Chewing tobacco helped me. And the price of cigs in North America is ridiculous. That helps too.
