Transgendered fighter in Women's MMA Tournament.
Did Fallon Fox win with certain qualities attributed to her birth gender? Should she have been allowed to fight cisgender women in tournaments to begin with?
Is this even an issue? Should it be?
Lots of controversy. There are a few celebrities stepping out to insult her in the aftermath of this fight and lots of controversy. Discuss.

UFC Fighter on Transgender Fighter: 'Sick Freak'
UFC Fighter on Transgender Fighter: 'Sick Freak'
He gets suspended for 'transphobic' dig
Matt Mitrione didn't hold back when discussing fellow mixed-martial arts fighter Fallon Fox, who is transgender. Fox is a "lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak," Mitrione said Monday on the MMA Hour. As a result, the UFC suspended his contract today and will investigate the matter, USA Today reports. In a statement, the organization said it was "appalled by the transphobic comments," calling them "offensive and wholly unacceptable."
Fox's gender-reassignment surgery, which she underwent in 2006, and her subsequent supplemental hormonal therapy have been big news in the MMA world since they were first reported last month. Some have expressed that she may have a physical advantage when fighting other women. But Mitrione went beyond that, calling the situation "an embarrassment to us as fighters" and continually referring to Fox as a male.

It's an interesting issue. With the UFC bringing in women now I'm sure it's an issue that will be discussed on a larger scale sooner, rather than later. I will say though that she looks pretty feminine compared to some GGs that I've seen compete, such as Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos

Yeah it's an issue. I think it's up to the athletic commissions to sort it all out. I hope they keep fighter safety in mind instead of just focusing on money.

I honestly don't think a transwoman should be fighting a genetic born woman.

That is not fair, she has a certain physical advantage comparing to other real genetic women.

Fallon Fox fighting genetic women is not going to help the transgender community. A lot of people have been calling Fallon Fox a "freak" for wanting to fight women.
