I have a friend who used to send me those 'pass it on' emails with some damning evidence of what the government is doing.....he finally got the message not to send it to me anymore when I kept sending him the snopes or another website that fact checked back to him. Sad thing is - I remember him believing stupid shit in High School, but damn it is like he has become brain dead to even think for himself.

Late 80s and early 90s, you actually could get Bart Simpson LSD.

But at 5 bucks a tab (retail) I really doubt kids were stocking up to dose their friends.

Great folk panics. Onetime in the 1960s it was said people thought they could get high from smoking dried banana skin. Lot of people got ill instead
