"Orange County prosecutors will assign former porn star Jenna Jameson a court date if they have enough evidence to charge her with battery following her arrest in Newport Beach, police said.
Jameson, 38, was arrested Saturday evening at a home in the 100 block of 36thStreet on Balboa Peninsula after a person claimed the former porn star attacked her.
The onetime "queen of porn" was later released on her own recognizance and given a preliminary court date for a hearing on the misdemeanor battery charge, said Lt. Evan Sailor of the Newport Beach Police Department.
On Twitter, Jameson gave a significantly different account of the incident. She claimed a friend broke into her house and robbed her. The friend, she said, "accused me of gusting her."
It was the second arrest in less than a year for Jameson. In May, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after her Range Rover struck a light pole in Westminster.
In that incident, Jameson, whose real name is Jenna Marie Massoli, was charged with three misdemeanor counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, having a blood-alcohol level over the state legal limit and driving on a suspended license."

Makes me think of the classic saying: "There's three sides to every story. Your side, their side, and the truth." I'll admit, I'm morbidly curious for the facts to shake out here -- different places on the web are spinning this with Britney as the baddie and other places are spinning Jenna is the baddie.

i don't know what "gusting" means, but the britney markham foundation website is no longer active so maybe there is a relation. hopefully we can get a representative to fill us in

Jenna said on her twitter that Brittany stole from her house and she went to get it back. Who knows! They seemed by all accounts to be very close. Sad that things ended this way.

A gust is a sudden outburst of emotion according to the Webster dictionary. Never heard it used that way.
